The Benefits Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day benefits administration for 200 employees. Lead and drive benefits initiatives; health & welfare and 403(b) retirement plans. Answer employee questions, work with vendors, handle reconciliation process, carry out audits, and investigate new benefit plans/programs. Help out in other areas of HR as needed. Must have strong benefits and 403(b) retirement plan experience. Ideal candidate will be team oriented, tech savvy, and have excellent customer service & communication skills. Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ benefits experience are required. Must have HRIS system and strong MS Excel experience; Paylocity knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities for this position include; processing payroll (60%) and benefits (40%) for approximately 2000+ employees across multiple states and locations. Maintain payroll & benefit information, prepare payroll & benefit reports, reconciliations, process garnishments, time & attendance, and update changes. Maintain information in the HRIS system, participate in periodic benefit audits, and manage large benefit data files. Act as liaison with HR Managers and Plant Managers regarding payroll and benefits issues. 3+ years solid payroll & benefits experience is required; Bachelor’s degree is ideal. Must have multi-state payroll experience. Payroll system experience and advanced MS Excel skills for V-lookups & pivot tables are required; Ceridian knowledge is a plus.   • Conduct new hire Sales Training sessions for new sales employees. Training classes include instructor-led sessions, virtual, live online sessions, and e-Learning.
  • Assess skills and needs of Sales staff and develop training modules and schedules to meet the need.
  • Conduct skills and competency testing of Sales staff to ensure staff is at required levels.
  • Teach selling skills, soft skills, as well as technical product training.
  • Track results of training sessions completed by Sales staff.
  • Update training courses based on latest product offerings.
  • Use gamification and other creative methods to keep training sessions engaging.
  • Provide program management to oversee multiple, simultaneous trainings.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS
  • 3+ sales training experience or 3+ years training experience, plus a sales background.
  • 20% travel required for enrichment classes and conferences
  • LMS software experience
